    It could be. Primarily from a good will sense not a financial one. When you are with one agent or carrier for a longer period of time they are able to develop a history with you. This can be extremely beneficial when it comes to getting claims covered and possibly prevent a cancellation or non-renewal of coverage. The longer the history that you have with the carrier the more they are likely they are to continue carrying you as a risk should you have a substantial claim and the longer you are with the carrier the more familiar you are with their processes.
