    Yes auto insurance is mandatory in Nevada.  The state of Nevada requires that your minimum liability limits be at least $15,000 in personal liability with a $30,000 cap and at least $10,000 in personal property coverage. 

    Based on these minimums, you'd be well advised to consider purchasing coverage that is higher than these amounts.
