There are too many factors involved to answer that question specifically, but all other things being equal, the newer the car, the higher the premium.

as far as factors specifically related to a new car, what deductibles you choose plays a factor. and the level of gap coverage plays a factor as well.

But there are many other factors that are irrelevant to the age of the vehicle as well.

It can vary a lot from one person to the next, and even what city and state you live in.  In my area of the country (the mid-west) I would save an average person spends from $60 - $150 / month for full coverage car insurance.  Your credit will play a role in your rate as well as your driving record and even what other drivers might have access to your car.

The rules in California are different.  However, the true cost of auto insurance is at the moment of claim.  If you go for the lowest quote you might well be seriously under-insured.  If you buy the insurance required by the lender and have an accident, the lender will probably be fine.  If someone is hurt, you might not be fine at all.  The cost of the claim could send you into bankruptcy.  Carefully consider the appropriate level of coverage that you should buy and place your order with someone you know and trust.  Call your agent before you buy.  Don’t be surprised after you buy.
