    In Montana you can not legally own a  car titled in your name only you would have to have an adult on the title. In that case they would have insure the car or you can get insurance but you would have to list the adult as a driver. also which  would make the rates much lower then on your own.

    The carriers that we use at our agency the average teen with a clean driving record cost about 100 a month with liability only on most 4 door cars trucks are a bit more.. I would talk to a local agent and find out what your state guidelines are
