   As far as the liability , uninsured motorist and medical coverage part of it, it's about the same as classic car insurance on a regular classic car.
   
   But with comprehensive and collision coverage, it can get a little more pricey due to lack of competition. Many classic car insurance companies will not insure a kit car for physical damage coverage, only liability. So you have to look a little harder to find the right companies to quote with.
