How Long Is A Car Insurance Premium?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaThe majority of auto policies today are written on a six month basis. Some companies issue policies for one-year. Very few exceed that period of time. The full year policy is preferable if everything else is equal because it will not make a mid-year correction. I suppose there are situations where the 6 month policy could be preferable.Answered on August 5, 2014flag this answer
