Auto insurance comprehensive coverage will cover a stolen car. If you asking if any of your personal items left in the car are covered for theft then the answer is theft from a vehicle is a covered peril. Now it would depend on what the item actually was that is in question and will the stolen item meet the deductible. Also if the auto was damaged during the incident you could potentially have two claims. One one the auto for the damage to the vehicle and on for your personal property that was in the vehicle. Also please note, items permanently mounted to your auto are part of the auto.Answered on May 1, 2013flag this answer
