    The color of your car is not a consideration when purchasing auto insurance.  There is an urban legend that states that red cars are more accident prone.  At least in California that isn’t a consideration.  The rating factors in California are year, make and model of the car, the driving record of all those in the household, the average annual mileage and the location.
