Does Car Insurance Cover All Vehicles I Drive?
- 155 POINTSview profileJames Hazzard, CLCSAccount Executive, Samuelson Insurance Agency, Portage, INThere is a misconception out there suggesting that your insurance covers you for any vehicle you drive. In reality the insurance travels with the vehicle. So, if you were to let a friend drive your vehicle and they were in an accident - you and your insurance company will be responsible and it will count against your policy. Depending on the severity of the accident, your insurance company could then go after your friend and their insurance.Answered on May 8, 2013flag this answer
