Does Auto Insurance Cover Broken Windshields?
- 1365 POINTSview profileRobert Attala LUTCF, PFPAgency Owner, A1 Insurance LLC, Arizona, California AgencyGreat Question. Auto insurance covers broken windshield if you carry comprehensivce insurance. Please check with your insurance compay or broker for more detail. If you have comp insurance and your windshield was broken from and accident or a fallen rock that could be covered under your auto insurance policy. Collision coverage generally won't cover damage to windows and glass unless the accident is actually caused by a collision. It's always a smart to cover both deductibles to protect to yourself.Answered on April 30, 2013flag this answer
