    Great Question. Auto insurance covers broken windshield if you carry comprehensivce insurance. Please check with your insurance compay or broker for more detail. If you have comp insurance and your windshield was broken from and accident or a fallen rock that could be covered under your auto insurance policy. Good Luck

    It depends if you have "other than collision damage" on your car or some sort of glass replacement / repair option. Collision coverage generally won't cover damage to windows and glass unless the accident is actually caused by a collision. It's always a smart to cover both deductibles to protect to yourself.
