My grandparents gave me a car , they want to put title in my name. Can my mother insure me as a driver?

For example, Allied allows all household members to be listed on separate policies (like your mom and you since you have your own titled auto), but gives you a multi-car discount, etc.
What is so important is that you tell your insurance company up-front know that she doesn't "own" the car, some companies can just reference her name as having an insurable interest in the car. Just tell your agent up-front. If something happens, and you discussed it with him/her it is his/her responsibility to insure it correctly/accurately.
