Can I Get Insurance On A Cat C Car?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaIn California there doesn’t seem to be any restriction on Cat “C” cars. A Cat “C” car must pass testing by the Department of Motor Vehicles. If it is a reliable vehicle, there shouldn’t be any concerns about insuring the car. Insurance companies are reluctant to write physical damage coverages, but as far as I can tell they cannot refuse to do so in California.Answered on May 7, 2014flag this answer
