An individual hits another vehicle and fleas scene; 3 bystanders report hit and run with vehicle description and plate number. Vehicle damage on both vehicles coincide. Police case open, paint samples are being matched to provide physical evidence. Hit and run driver’s insurance will not pay out as driver denies operating the vehicle at time of accident (and conveniently does not know who was). What should I do next?

    Repair of your car is normally covered by the collision coverage contained in your auto policy. If your car does not have collision coverage you may have exhausted your insurance options. You can litigate directly against the other vehicle owner. An attorney can advise you on the possibility of prevailing in a lawsuit.
