   Equity Indexed Annuities is a slight misnomer for indexed annuities. Non-qualified indexed annuities generate earnings from indices both foreign and domestic with crediting methods like rate caps, spreads and participation rates (sometimes a combination.) Most indexed annuities use index options funded by their interest rate portfolio yield.
