Many customers think that having minimal coverage satisfies their need for auto insurance.  A recent accident illustrates my point.  A man killed a boy in a crosswalk and injured one or two others in the same incident.  The settlement for the accident was in excess of $750,000.  Under a minimal policy the company would have paid $15,000 and the balance would have been the driver’s responsibility.  If you want the company to stand with you when the real tragedies of life occur, buy the highest coverage that they will allow.
