   Ask your colleagues, friends and neighbors.  Select an agent with a good reputation.  You want an agent that will stand with you when necessary.  Give the agent every piece of available information and make sure that he or she accurately reports it to the insurance company.  Listen carefully to the agent’s recommendations concerning coverage.  Choosing the lowest liability limits greatly reduces the insurance company’s exposure and greatly increases your own.
