People typically go on Medicare Part A & B when they turn age 65. From there, they decide on getting a Medicare Supplement or a Medicare Advantage plan to cover what Medicare Part A & B does not cover. If you are on a group plan from an employer you may be able to delay getting Part B until you retire.
