Does Geico Offer Term Life Insurance?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.Geico offers Term Life Insurance through non-affiliated insurance companies. In other words, the life insurance is not underwritten by Geico; Geico just helps you get it by referring you to a brokerage that carries quotes from multiple life insurance companies. The agency they refer you to is not owned by Geico.Answered on July 30, 2013flag this answer

Buying a life insurance policy from a car insurance company makes no sense at all. Getting something that is sold and resold to you puts you one step farther away from service, and, in order to make a profit from selling you someone else's insurance, an auto insurance company, or any other reseller, has to make a profit. That means one more layer of cost to you. Find an independent agent who has access to multiple carriers to find you the best rates available.Answered on July 13, 2016flag this answer
