- 5877 POINTSview profileStan Cox IIInsurance Adviser - Broker, SC Insurance Services, Oahu, HawaiiJust about everyone can get some kind of Life Insurance. The most limiting factor is age. Most insurers won't issue a policy on anyone over the age of 80. Some will issue up to age 85. Medical issues can influence the rating and cost of insurance, but there are "Guaranteed Issue" policies that any one can get as long as they aren't over the age limit.Answered on June 30, 2015flag this answer
