   Short term medical insurance provides benefits to the insured for specified period of time.  Here are a few things to note about Short Term medical coverage:
   
   
   Term is 1-12 months
   Pre exisitng conditions are not covered.
   Typically catastrophic coverage in nature.
   Must be in the US.
   Cannot be currently pregnant.
   
   Short term in an excellent solution for people inbetween jobs, recent graduates, an alternative to COBRA or for those that cannot afford 2014 reform rates.
