   Not as a rule.  Medicare is a Federally funded program under the jurisdiction of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services or CMMS.  CMMS sets the rules and they are uniform throughout the States.  Some of the reimbursements to doctors may differ based on the area and health care costs in that area but that has no real effect on the Medicare recipient.
