I'm starting to wonder if I am helping someone with their exams with these questions.. :) the simplest most commonly known example is going to be a 401(k) plan. The employer "contributes" into the employee's retirement account, but bears little responsibility for the results outside of fidicary responsibility for investment choices including a safe harbor.
