		<description><![CDATA[The correct answer here is &quot;it depends&quot;.  Normally any water that enters from the outside will not trigger coverage.  If the roof just plain leaked, then the building owner is responsible for any losses that happen.  They have a duty to maintain their property.  Their failure to maintain their property makes them responsible for any damage caused by the leaky roof.  If, however, the roof leaked as a direct result of damage from a storm, it may be covered.  The key words here are&quot;sudden and accidental&quot;.  A leaky roof certainly isn&#039;t sudden, it&#039;s a maintenance issue.

My advice would be to contact the building owner and tell them what was damaged.  I don&#039;t know how your lease is written, but they are responsible for upkeep of the building.  Therefore they should be responsible for any damage to your stuff if it was damaged because of the roof.  They may not agree easily.]]></description>
