		<description><![CDATA[Medicare does not pay for rent or amenities in privately funded assisted living communities. Considered non-medical senior housing, Medicare will not pay for your rent, meals, or anything not deemed as medical.

If you have Medicare, you can still use it for your medical needs.  You may be able to receive some covered services at an assisted care facility for preventative or acute care or medical emergency (therapies, medical supplies, equipment use, dietary counseling and ambulance transportation).
