Lyrica is covered by most Part D prescription drug plans. Since it is a brand name drug your co-pay should be $45-47. Since Lyrica is an expensive drug to the drug plan it could put you into the drug coverage gap (donut hole) before the end of the year particularly if you are taking any other brand name medications. The cost of Lyrica if you are in the drug coverage gap is 45% of the cost of the drug. That is a lot more than the $45 co-pay. You may want to try a low cost generic medication called Gabapentin to see if can help with your nerve pain before going on Lyrica.

Lyrica is used to treat pain from conditions such as fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy, and shingles. It can also be used to treat some types of seizures.
