Medicare does not cover dental unless your teeth have been injured in an accident. Medicare will cover anything medically wrong with your eyes (glaucoma, cataracts, macular degenerative disease, etc.). Medicare does not cover a new pair of glasses unless you have been prescribed new glasses as a result of cataract surgery.

Medicare generally does not cover dental or vision. However, there are certain conditions when Medicare may provide some coverage - this is generally when it's an integral part of a covered procedure.

For dental, Medicare may provide some coverage when it's an integral part of another procedure, such as procedures conducted during a hospital visit, covered under Part A. Routine checkups, cleanings, fillings, etc. are not covered by Medicare.

For vision, Medicare will cover some preventive and diagnostic eye exams such as for glaucoma or macular degeneration. Routine eye exams are not covered by Medicare.

You can purchase a separate dental and/or vision insurance plan through an insurance agent/broker.
