		<description><![CDATA[Chiropractors and other medical providers have the ability to opt out of Medicare as long as they do not need admitting privileges to a hospital that services Medicare and Medicaid patients.

If they opt out of Medicare and they treat patients that are on Medicare they are still required to adhere to Medicare fee schedules.
