What is not covered under term life insurance? Well, the same things that are covered under Universal Life and Whole life are covered by term.. It is just term is a single purpose policy. That is a term policy pays a death benefit, while both Universal and Whole life can have other purposes.

The same things that are not covered under whole life are not covered under term life. Typically this means death by suicide within the first two years of coverage. Also material dishonesty in the application form discovered within the first two years of coverage. If you do hang gliding and did not disclose that, do not expect that to be covered during the first two years. However if you never did that and suddenly decide this is a good time to start, then, yes, that should be covered. Thank you. GARY LANE.
