Then if term for example how long of a term do you want to lock in the rate? Next how much life insurance are you wanting to purchase? Next you have the underwriting process which determines the level of risk you would be. There are about 14 levels of premiums with most carriers that range from &quot;best preferred&quot; to &quot;table 10&quot; which is an indication of rate ups due to age, health or life style risks.
