Interesting question. Certain hazardous avocations such as sky diving, mountain climbing, bungee jumping, etc are generally asked about on the application. The questions usually take the form of, "Do you participate in or plan to participate in the following activities"... If at the time of your applying for your insurance the answer is 'no', then sometime after the policy is issued you decide on a whim to go skydiving and something goes wrong and you die, it's doubtful that the claim would be denied.

Yes, life insurance covers skydiving accidents, unless it has a rider excluding death due to skydiving. Policies do not automatically come with that type of rider. Those are only added if you are a skydiver at the time you apply, and do not want to pay the extra cost that would be required to cover death due to skydiving.

If you are referring to already having a life insurance policy in force and it has been 2 years, then I can say absolutely. If it is within 2 years the company may dispute the benefit as you engaged in a hazardous hobby. If you are just applying, you will have to fill out a questionnaire and will most likely have to pay a flat extra for each $1000 of coverage you are looking for.

Contact your agent to get a quote or to find a company that will at least consider covering you if you do not currently have coverage in force.
