As my colleage mentions, damage as a result of water back up is usuallyy not covered, but more than likely is available as a purchased amendment. Again talk to your Insurance Professional about your policy. For those of us on a septic system, it is very important to regulary see to the care and maintenance of that system. If the water backs up because your system has been neglected then that is a maintenace issue and more than likely there would be no coverage under your policy terms and conditions.
