It is pretty simple, actually. We always suggest to our clients that they call us first so that we can talk with them about the loss, advise them about their coverage and explain the process. We obtain any contact information and file the claim on their behalf. Of course, they always have the opportunity to contact the company directly and file the claim themselves, but if we are aware of the claim from the beginning, just in case they have questions or concerns down the line, we can be better prepared to help. As a further service, I have a "QR" code that enables my clients to can our mobile app into their smart phones. In addition to free, 24/7 direct contact with us, among other services, it provides a direct link to our Professional Claims Support Staff.
