Structural damagee that is caused by a covered loss that is outlined in your policy would be covered under the terms and conditions of your policy. This really needs to be discussed with your insurance professional directly. There are things that can cause structural damage to a home that are outside of the areas that are covered in a Homeowners policy. Things like earth movement and Flood are standard exclusions for examle. You can include coverage for Earth movement in your homeowners policy in most cases, but Flood Insurance is always a separate and specific policy that needs to be purchased separately. Again talk to your insurance professional or check our the FEMA website and look for "Flood Smart Certified" Insurance Professionals in your area.

Yes homeowners insurance may cover structural damage depending on what damaged the structure. The damage must be caused by a peril of the policy. For example but not limited to fire, wind, hail, explosion, falling or colliding objects just to name a few. You would need to discuss this with you agent to see the details of your particular policy for coverage's and exclusions that may apply.
