		<description><![CDATA[Short answer, maybe. &#160;Different insurance companies have different policies regarding claims surcharges. &#160;Some companies will surcharge for each claim. &#160;Some will surcharge for only non-weather related claims. Some surcharge following claims payment exceeding a specific threshold. &#160;And some have a forgiveness period based on how long you have been with them before they will assess a surcharge at all.
This is a great question to ask when you are shopping for homeowners insurance. &#160;And because insurance companies&#039; change their procedures, it also important to review your policies periodically with your insurance professional.]]></description>
