As for current Kansas averages, the 2013 data is not accurately completed and compiled yet. But by best estimates of 2013 data, the average premium in Kansas is $182, but does not disclose or reflect benefit levels or type of coverage(the national average benefit level is 78%). So, in conclusion, a resident of Kansas can expect to pay on average $182 for a health plan the remainder of 2013, and then $260 starting 2014(a 43% increase from 2013, which is in line with the national weighted average of overall premium increases).
