There may be plans available that have add-on (non-insurance) benefits such as travel discounts or gym memberships, but a true major medical health insurance plan will usually not pay for routine gym memberships.

In some instances a carrier may agree to pay for a gym membership if the individual needs a type of physical therapy (such as swimming) that is more economical than traditional therapy sessions.]]></description>
