		<description><![CDATA[Critical illness insurance pays a lump to the person who is diagnosed with a serious, life threatening illness. The benefit received is set by the stipulations in the policy. 

Disability Insurance pays a percent of one&#039;s income to them on a regular basis if they are unable to work due to a disabling illness or injury.
