Any damages, injuries, or loss of life will be your financial responsibility, with no help from the insurance company. The second thing that happens is that you now can no longer legally drive. The penalties for being an uninsured driver are stiff, and will leave a black mark on your record that will make it difficult or impossible to get reinsured in the future.
