There are many companies that offer good Disability Insurance, and some companies are better for certain occupations than others. Contact a broker that sells Disability Insurance (a Life Insurance broker may also sell Disability Insurance) to obtain several quotes from a few good companies. Then you can pick the best one for your particular situation.

As Peggy said, your occupation will most likely determine which company is best for you.  Well, that and your health history.  If you have a high risk job or any serious health conditions, you would want to look for an impaired risk carrier like Petersen International, Fidelity or Assurity.  But if you have a white collar job and are in good health, you'll get great quotes from The Standard, Principal, MetLife, MOO, etc.
