Does Basal Cell Carcinoma Affect Life Insurance?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.No, basal cell carcinoma does not have much of an effect on life insurance premiums, if any. Squamous cell carcinoma does affect rates more, depending on the stage, how long ago it was removed, and whether there was any recurrence or multiple spots. Melanoma, of course, has the most significant impact on life insurance rates of cancer affecting the skin, and may cause a decline if past stage 1 occurred within the past year.Answered on June 6, 2013flag this answer
