   Geico does write home insurance as a broker but not as an insurer. This means that you can work with a Geico representative to purchase a home policy and they can even service the policy, but that policy is actually written through another carrier. If you have a home policy through Geico you can find out who the insurer by reviewing the policy declarations page.
