Can I Get Long Term Care Insurance If I Have Cancer?
- 30 POINTSview profileMichelle DaharshSenior Markets Director, The Ark Group, Omaha, NEIf you are currently receiving treatment for cancer, then the answer would be no. However, this doesn't mean that in the future you wouldn't be able to apply and potentially be approved for Long Term Care insurance. Factors such as the type of cancer, the staging, how many years have passed since the last treatment and if there has been any recurrence help determine if the cancer or history of cancer would be an insurable risk.Answered on June 3, 2013flag this answer
