Total blood count (showing excessively high or low white or red blood cell counts) would be the most obvious, but abnormal liver labs or even high protein in the urine could be examples of other tests that COULD indicate cancer. That is why, if labs are abnormal, insurance companies will often postpone until you can get a diagnosis for those results.
