Will Medicare Cover Orthotics?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.Medicare Part B will cover orthotic shoes only if they are part of a medically approved leg brace. Medicare will also cover soft insole inserts for some patients with diabetes, but not orthotics for those with diabetes. Purchasing orthotic shoes without a leg brace and purchasing orthotic shoe inserts are not covered by Medicare.Answered on May 10, 2013flag this answer
