In all honesty, your insurance company and insurance agent are the only ones that can answer a specific question like this.
I am not a claims representative, but from my experience, and what I have heard from claims folks, in this particular case it could depend on how they define the hot tub. Typically, a deck or patio are considered "extensions" of the house, much like a driveway as long as there is a distinct connection. On the other hand, it could be considered as personal property.
Another thing worth considering is the age of the tree. Trees that are "dead" or "dying" could result in a claim being denied if the homeowner could've taken reasonable steps to prevent the tree from falling. If the tree was in good health then it more than likely would be considered a wind claim.
