AARP Medigap plans are actually underwritten and administered by United Healthcare - AARP is a marketing company and political activist group. They do not underwrite or directly sell insurance plans.
As Medigap plans feature standardized benefits, the coverage under each Medigap plan is exactly the same as it would be if you purchased the coverage from another carrier. If you were to compare plan F from another company such as Omaha, Anthem, Humana, Cigna, etc., the coverage would be identical in every way to the plan F through United Heatlhcare.
The only difference between the plans are the price the carrier charges.
