How Much Should I Be Paying For Disability Insurance?
- 10968 POINTSview profileTim WilhoitOwner, Your Friend 4 Life, Brentwood TNIf you are paying for a personal individual disability policy you want to pay for it from your personal checking account. The reason is with today's tax laws it will not be tax deductible or a business expense unless you are paying for employees. The good news is since you pay premiums with after tax dollars, if you become disable, your benefits are drawn tax free to you.Answered on September 12, 2014flag this answer
