Can I Get Renters Insurance With A Pitbull?

    A few other agents and I had this discussion recently. None of us knew of an insurance company that would knowingly insure a renter who owned a pit bull dog. There are several other breeds that are unacceptable to insurance companies. The company I write for has an endorsement that restricts liability should you ever purchase a pit bull or other aggressive dog. This is an enormous claims issue.
