Generally, you can only add your spouse or kids to your health insurance policy. If you're trying to add your kids, they can stay on your plan up until age 26.

Your parents typically cannot be added to your health plan. In some cases, if you are claiming them as a dependent on your tax return, you may be able to add them to your health plan.

Check with your agent/insurance company to see who is allowed to be added under your plan - what's allowed can vary from company to company.

Typically, a health insurance policy will allow you to have your spouse, children (up to age 26), and any legal dependents. In some states, domestic partners are also allowed to be on the same policy.  I suggest consulting a licensed insurance advisor in your area to find the best possible option for you and your family.
