Renter’s insurance is quite inexpensive.  The cheapest policy is the one that you have in force with adequate limits the day that you have a claim.  Nothing is as cheap as a fully paid claim.  Price variation between carriers doesn’t seem to be pronounced.  Find an agent that you can trust.  Get a recommendation from a neighbor, colleague or friend and let them put a plan together.  You should be pleased, especially if you actually need to file a claim.
